Did you know that heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the United States? It kills nearly half a million women each year at the rate of about one per minute. They are our sisters, mothers, daughters, friends, neighbors and colleagues. Yet, there is hope. Inside every woman is the power to live a longer, stronger life. The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women® movement seeks to provide women with the tools and resources they need to reduce their risk for heart disease and stroke.
The Westchester Fairfield Go Red For Women Luncheon is a life-changing experience that focuses on three areas to support the fight against heart disease in women: heightening awareness of the issue, creating a passionate call-to-action and generating funds to support education and research.
Be sure to take your seat with other women (and men) as we speak up together to beat the No. 1 killer of women. For more information, tickets or for sponsorship opportunities, please contact Deena Kaye at 914.640.3269 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
A woman at your table will have a "heart" story. Someone in your row at the breakout session will have found a way to eat baked, not fried, for her whole family. That exercise and diet plan you've been looking for, the one that is actually doable? The woman next to you in line for coffee is going to tell you to forget diets, and become a BetterU. Join Us!
Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Our mission drives everything we do.
